Opportunities at The Grange in 2016

Dear friends,
Happy New Year!
2016 looks set to be a busy year at The Grange with an increasing number of therapeutic retreats, skills retreats, courses, our first internship opportunities (more details below) and lots more.
As ever, our priority is to welcome people who have fled persecution and we feel lucky to be working with some incredible partners who offer support to survivors of torture, trafficking, forced migration and violence.
In response to the increasing amount of interest in what we do at The Grange, Sophie and Ben are developing a range of resources that we hope will be useful for everyone from community groups to university lecturers and others exploring refugee and migrant issues. We will share these on our website later in the year.
If you have any thoughts, ideas or questions about what is happening at The Grange we would encourage you to get in touch...or even better to come and visit!
In love and peace,
Sophie, Ben and Orianna

Internships and volunteer opportunities
We will be offering one, or possibly two, internships running from April-June. These will be live-in opportunities and you will be offered a huge range of experience including working with some of the groups who visit The Grange, a free place on our permaculture course and experience of living and working on a permaculture smallholding. Starting in February we will also be having Workday Wednesdays when we encourage anyone from near or far to come and help out for the day. The tasks we do will be completely dependent on the season and on what else is happening at The Grange but we will ensure there is something suitable for all ages and abilities. If you can come, please e-mail or phone us first to let us know. Our contact details are on the website.

Courses and events
The following courses still have some places available.

Ben will once again be co-teaching a full PDC at The Grange and Walnut Farm. The course runs for 6 weekends from April - September and is certified by the Permaculture Association of Britain. Full details of the course can be found on the Soil and Soul website
